A young black couple in hip-hop style clothing walked into our store.

My co-worker, a young (19) Armenian girl, turned and whispered to me, “Do you like niggers?”

I stood in stunned silence, not knowing how in the world I’m supposed to respond to that.

Fortunately, she walked away before enough time had passed that social convention would have warranted a response from me.

After the couple left the store, she came back to say to me, “Good, the niggers are gone.”

I walked away from her quickly.

I don’t want to work there anymore.

I really hate to be a buzzkill

but I’m gonna have to talk with my roommates today.  They have repeatedly had tens of people over on weeknights and it inevitably gets really loud, every time, in the middle of the night (fml).  Last night they were literally running through the apartment at 1am.  On the weekends, I couldn’t care less.  They can make a ruckus all night long if they want.  But it’s Monday night.  There are 3 other people living here and all 3 of us have to wake up before 7am for work during the week.  We need to sleep!!  A little respect is all I ask.

EDIT: they swore there would be no more “party-house” at our place. Let’s see how long that lasts…
