I had a wonderful discussion of jazz today with none other than Terry Harrington, renowned jazz musician and the man behind Lisa Simpson’s saxophone playing. He came in to buy a bow tie and we ended up talking for about half an hour. Lovely guy, incredibly nice. Taught me a few things, too. Makes me want to work on my jazz piano skills.
