LD's Guide to Japan

My Junior High School was supposed to be rebuilt over the next couple of years because it’s very old and “structurally unsound,” which supposedly makes it “unsafe” (their words, not mine).

But they just decided they don’t have enough money to rebuild it, so instead they’re putting really nice, shiny, new digital TVs in every classroom, I guess to distract us from the fact that we could all die in this building.  I suppose being structurally unsound isn’t that big a deal.  I mean, it’s not like we’re in a country that gets a lot of earthquakes or anything.
