LD's Guide to Japan

This is way overdue because basically I’m lazy, but here’s some video from one of my school’s “Sports Day,” which was way back in September.  The school divided into 3 teams and competed in races, tug of war, some tire pulling game, some piggyback fighting game, and cheers.  The kids really got into it and there was a lot of crying at the end of the day, both from the winning team (yellow) and the losers.  It’s pretty intense.  The whole neighborhood came out for it and there were food stands and everything.  In terms of importance, it’s about the equivalent of a homecoming game in the US.  The kids spend a ton of time preparing for it.
