‘Mad Man’ Hamm joins Reeves and Connelly for “The Day The Earth Stood Still” Remake
Jon Hamm (pictured left), alumnus of my high school and star of the fantastic AMC show Mad Men, just signed on for the remake of the 1951 sci-fi film “The Day The Earth Stood Still.” Hamm was recently nominated for best actor in a television drama by both the Screen Actors Guild and the Golden Globes for his role as 1950s-era Madison Avenue ad man Don Draper! Mainly, I’m excited because of my ties with Jon Hamm—I’m just happy for his success.
“The Day The Earth Stood Still,” is also starring Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly, and is slated for a December ‘08 release. Source: Cinematical
