Something new every day…
After my first class this morning, a student came up to me and said “社会の窓口が開けてある!” which translates to roughly “your window to society is open!” I was puzzled and taken aback by this seemingly deep, psychological assessment of my state of mind.
Turns out that “window to society” is a common Japanese euphemism for the fly on your pants.
