Last night, I was incredibly fortunate enough to see Fiona Apple sing this song live. Throw in the incomparable Jon Brion on piano, and Sebastian Steinberg on bass, and you’ve got the most stunningly, breathtakingly romantic performance of a song I could ever dream of.
Thank God I had a beautiful girl on my arm to share it with.
