LD's Guide to Japan

incline:

My father will be spending the next month or two living out of a hotel in Minnesota for work, and though he is a stoic by nature, he will inevitably find himself restless and bored from time to time. I grew up in a house full of puzzles (word, crossword, jigsaw, etc.), and it occurred to me that a good puzzle might be just the thing in this situation.

I’m building a series of ciphers and puzzles that will, ultimately, feed into a larger meta-puzzle. This is the first (and simplest) of multiple postcards, the one that will send him down the rabbit hole. My handwriting is both tiny and atrocious, so you’ll probably need to click through to see a higher resolution version of the image if you want to play along from home.

awesome.  you are win.  I am miserably bad at puzzles that aren’t of the crossword variety, so I’m not even going to try, but I approve.
