I just found an email I didn't reply to from 1999
So here’s my reply:
“Oh shit. I’m so sorry it’s taken me so long to reply, Rob. Things have been CRAZY BUSY here. Let’s definitely hang out after biology class in the lockers outside Ms. Snuckheim’s office, but we graudated years ago so everything that’s happened in human history is basically after biology class, but…
Yeah, nothing much is new here. You know, just stuff with the wife and the...

One summer when I worked at a day care, I...
because my parents had pepperoni pizza on their first date.
They loved it.
I would be a great stand-up comedian if my audience was always children.

One half of an overheard phone conversation...
Barista: I'm just really concerned about what kind of legacy I'm going to be leaving
[break]
B: Well, those tracks I have laid down are there, and they're not changing or going away, and I'm okay with that because they represent a part of my life; they represent who I was and how I was feeling at that stage in my life, but that's not how I want to be remembered.
[break]
B: Right, because I'm going to be impacting society, and I want to change the world in a positive way.
[break]
B: People are going to want to be like me and dress like me and I don't want it to be just because I'm a celebrity. I want it to be because I represent something positive.
[break]
B: And I'm not talking about some Disneyland, bubble-gum shit...

That was the last thing I heard because he walked into the Starbucks on Beverly. I was really impressed, though, by how confident he was. It didn't matter that he was actually IN UNIFORM, on his way to work at Starbucks; he knew that he is GOING to change the world. No matter what.
And I kinda hope he does. Because we could all use a positive change.

it’s really crazy to me that there’s a dvd for sale of something that I’m in, and that one of the “bonus features” has an interview with me.
Not to be all “look at me! look at me!” cuz I know, I was only an extra, but it’s just cool.

I knew of the Kinks, but didn’t really get into them until I heard Jon Brion speak of his love for their music. And now: j’adore.

Happy Mother's Day, everyone
I’m covering a friend’s shift at work because she actually is a mother. That is my good deed today.
Second full trailer for Land of the Lost.
Could be good. I’d watch Will Ferrell and Danny McBride run around yelling for a couple hours.

“I wanted a visual system that felt unique,” Abrams says (via io9). “I know there are certain shots where even I watch and think, ‘Oh that’s ridiculous, that was too many.’ But I love the idea that the future was so bright it couldn’t be contained in the frame.” Interesting thought so far, and I like where he’s going with this, as I trust...
