I have mixed feelings about text messaging

Trailer for Sugar. This movie screened at last year’s Sundance festival and got rave reviews.  It’s from the writer-directors of another great film, Half Nelson, starring Ryan Gosling.  Also, seeings as I’m a baseball man, I’m totally psyched to see this one.

This has been a great week
I just got word that I got an interview for the JET Program.  I’ve kinda felt this whole time that if I got an interview, then I’m nearly certain I’d get into the program.  Not that I can totally breathe easy now, but it’s a huge relief. Of course, then I’d have to decide if I want to go to Japan or stay here, now that things are actually starting to go well in LA....

In case you didn't know
Slumdog Millionaire is really, really good. I know I’m a little behind the curve on that one, but I’ve been busy.  Speaking of which, I’ve decided to take the internship at the film production and management company ROAR, which means my time at Men’s Wearhouse has an expiration date on it, and that is 4 months from now.  Thank God. I’m so freakin’ excited....

Last night at CPK
When I went to the bathroom there was a little kid who went in in front of me and I followed him in, not realizing that it was just a one-person bathroom.  The kid turned around and gave me the most frightened look I’d ever seen, as if his whole body were yelling “Please don’t rape me!!!”  Poor kid.  I immediately apologized (profusely) and backed out of the bathroom.
