Sneak Peak video clip of the new season of Scrubs.
Very interesting.
This'll be my first New Years in LA
Anyone know where I should go?
PDXmas 2008
This is the first 10 minutes that I’ve put together so far of my christmas video that I’ll be putting on a dvd and sending to my family. It’s shaky-cam to the max, but it was all shot with the Flip Mino HD, so it’s pretty hard to hold that little thing steady. The next part (and possibly final part) that I’ve started to put in is a picture slide show...

Top 10 most annoying Americanisms →
I’m totally on board with number one, but aside from that one, I completely disagree with this list. Still, it’s interesting to see a Briton’s point of view.
Also, I’m reasonably certain that I’ve never used nor have I ever heard anyone use number five.

not that the rest of the series isn’t, but this one’s definitely up there.
I left an unopened (and cold) can of Coca-Cola in my car when I took it to get serviced last week (which you can read all about here), and I sorta didn’t expect it to still be there when I picked the car up, but lo and behold, there it was! And still cold! It’s like finding money in your jacket pocket. A little present from myself of last week.
life is in the little things
like the elderly couple next to me on last night’s flight, who held hands throughout both takeoff and landing.
Ugh, depressing
In just one (holiday) week, I gained back half of the weight I struggled to lose over the past two months.
Oldest man in the US dies in Sacramento at 112 →
SAN FRANCISCO – George Francis, the nation’s oldest man, who lived through both world wars, man’s first walk on the moon and the election of the first black president, has died. He was 112.

about to board the flight back to LA. Fantastic vacation. Not excited about going back to work, but c’est la vie. I took a ton of video and I’ll be putting together some kind of montage/compilation video that’ll go up on vimeo, but I’m not sure how long that’ll take me. It’s good, though, because I’ve been needing a project to keep me busy in my free...

Flip HD = video blogging
I’ve been using my Flip HD like mad this week. I’m trying to make a dvd of this christmas for my family, since it’s the first time in a few years we’ve all been together (and my new niece’s first christmas). Only problem is I’m not in almost all of the shots.

Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence →
I had no idea that David Bowie and Beat Takeshi Kitano were in a movie together called Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence and now I must do everything in my power to see this movie.
Made it to Portland safely! Minimal blogging over the next 5 days or so from me. Merry Christmas everybody!!!!

"Slightly Delayed"
is the current status of my flight to Portland. Let’s hope it doesn’t get any worse than that.
I’m waiting at LAX, Terminal 3, Gate 33A. As much as I usually hate waiting for flights, I’m very relieved to be here. I left my apartment way early (luckily) so I could get some errands done before heading to the airport, only to find my car giving me attitude.

The set-up: The following scene from the Feb. 13 premiere is the first time we see Echo (Eliza Dushku) wake up after having her memories wiped in the special memory-flushing chair. That leads into a discussion between lab tech Topher (Fran Kranz) and Echo’s handler Boyd (Harry Lennix) about her last “date,” delving into just what being a doll/active means.

We need a new Mario game, where you rescue the princess in the first ten minutes, and for the rest of the game you try and push down that sick feeling in your stomach that she’s “damaged goods”, a concept detailed in the profoundly sex negative instruction booklet, and when Luigi makes a crack about her and Bowser, you break his nose and immediately regret it. When Peach asks you, in the quiet of...

Calling all tumblr men (again)
Apologies to those of you who have seen this and are getting sick of seeing it over and over, but every time I post this, I get more emails from guys who are interested, so I’m just gonna keep on posting it…
I’ve been wanting to do this for a while: would any of you be interested in starting up a group tumblr to post stuff about men/men’s issues/etc? It’s a very rough idea and it...
